The Lady Lions volleyball team distributed gifts to children visiting the hospital over Christmas.

To spread the holiday cheer, the Greenville High School volleyball team distributed gifts to the children who were in the emergency room over Christmas.

The girls collected over 75 stuffed animals and other kinds of toys for the employees to give out to the kids on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Whether they were the sick ones or they had a family member in the hospital, "Santa" still found a way to get to these children which made them feel better with an animal to hold and a toy to play with.  The hospital staff made sure not a single toy was left; all animals went home for the holidays with a child.

"The volleyball program wanted to do something to give back to the community and do something a little different," said Coach Vaden.
