Items autographed by baseball legend Nolan Ryan will be auctioned soon for GHS's Project Graduation program.

Already a legend in major league baseball, Nolan Ryan recently returned to the Texas Rangers as team president with hopes of turning the struggling franchise into a winner.

Greenville High School leaders hope Ryan's name and fame can lend a hand to a GHS program that drives home the message that high school graduation ought to be a celebration that doesn't involve drugs and alcohol.  Items autographed by Ryan - tagged by the media as "The Ryan Express" - are among several valuable sports memorabilia items that will be auctioned soon, all for the benefit of Greenville High School's "Project Graduation" program.

Three autographed 8 x 10 Ryan photographs, plus an autographed baseball, will be among the items auctioned at the upcoming Project Graduation Spaghetti Dinner & Sports Memorabilia Auction.  The dinner is set for Friday, May 9 at 6:30pm at the GHS Cafeteria.  The cost to attend is $10 per person and includes salad, spaghetti, bread and dessert.
