Time to Order "The Lion" Yearbook

Somewhere among the days of taking tests, reading chapter reviews and trying to actually figure out the meaning of life, GHS students are caught up in the process of making memories.  Memories, some day, that last a life time.

Chronicling these daily activities is the GHS yearbook, "The Lion."  A very busy staff is working to create a full spectrum of the 2009-2010 school year.  Starting with the first day of school through graduation and even Project Graduation, the full color yearbook can now be ordered.

Not many schools offer the final months of school in the yearbook in order to get it produced by graduation day, but the GHS staff has always worked to ensure a complete overview of all the activities.  This is why The Lion is delivered in late summer or just as the following school year begins.

Unique to the 2009-2010 yearbook are opportunities to be a part of the picture section known as vanity ads, by the entire student body.  Seniors will once again be the only ones to be able to purchase a baby picture ad with notes from parents.  Any student, team or organization can purchase spotlight ads to be published in this issue.

Also this year, the book may be purchased directly from Taylor Publishing Company and charged to a credit card.  To order directly from Taylor Publishing Company, just use these easy to follow directions.

If you want to go directly from this article, just click this link:  http://www.myYear.com, from the menu bar, choose "Greenville, Texas" and then "Greenville High School".  Once you have made these selections, you will be taken to a page with the various options for ordering the yearbook.  First click "Order My Yearbook," choose the basic package, then the page with all the options will appear and you can place your order online.

You can also make your purchase in room 1102 with either Mrs. Paula Ballew or Mrs. Linda Wensel.  Below are the package options available for purchase.

Basic Yearbook - $60

Add-Ons:

Baby Ad with Basic Yearbook purchase (Seniors Only) - One eighth page full color ad that highlights a baby picture of a senior as well as a note from the parent.  Pictures and notes are due by February 15 and should be turned in to Mrs. P. Ballew in Room 1102.  Add-On Price: $30

Spotlight Ad - One Half page full color ad that spotlights a student, a team, organization or friends.  These ads may be a collage or a single picture, designed at home or  by the yearbook staff.  These are due no later than March 1 and should be turned into Ballew in Room 1102.  Available to any student, any classification.  Add-On Price: $100

Spotlight Ad - Full Page full color ad that features a student, team, organization or friends.  These ads may be a collage or a single picture, designed at home or by the yearbook staff.  These are due no later than March 1 and should be turned into Ballew in Room 1102.  Available to any student, any classification.  Add-On Price: $200
