The NJROTC Class of 2010 stand at attention to be the first to hear the news of the recognition.

With all the pomp and circumstance of a military honors parade, the NJROTC Class of 2010 ushers in a new era for Greenville High School.

On May 14th, the local program's final inspection of the year was in front of not only family and friends, but the Area Commander for NJROTC.  Commander Hale's announcement to the company was long awaited as the students and instructors had to wait a year to earn the probationary period.

Exceeding Hale's expectations, the company earned Bravo Zulu status, meaning no longer were they just a local class but are now a national level functioning group of the Navy.  The first year of any NJROTC program is considered a probationary period during which Cadets must prove themselves worthy of Navy and school funding.  GHS' program never sat still during the school year and their constant involvement in community and school activities did not go unnoticed.
