Prom Night Requires a Few Plans

With just two weeks left until prom night for the Class of 2011, there are plenty of last minute items to check off the To Do List.

No one can attend without a ticket to prom and this week is the last chance to purchase it. Costing $50 per ticket, seniors can buy them at lunch this Friday. You can also see Mrs. Kilgore in the front office throughout the day to buy a ticket. Seniors planning on taking a guest that is not a GHS student will have to fill out a permission form in the front office and get the guest approved.

Missing prom because you don't have something to wear is not an acceptable reason for the prom moms. The GHS Prom Boutique has been stocked and anyone wanting a dress for prom is invited to visit the boutique for a personal fitting. Dresses are in all sizes, styles and colors. The Prom Moms are willing to take the time to make sure all the ladies of 2011 have the perfect dress for this special night. Fittings will be on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. If there isn't a slot for you then, just call Mrs. Phillips for an appointment. Her number is posted outside Mr. Albin's office.

There are plenty of activities for the 2011 class and prom is just the beginning of an eventful last six weeks of high school.
