Lady Lions Are Playoff Hopefuls

Keeping a playoff spot in their sights, the Greenville Lady Lions are still in pursuit of advancing in district play.  With the 56-31 win over R.L. Turner on Tuesday night, the team is still in it, as the top four teams will advance and the Lady Lions are currently number four.

With a 20 point lead at halftime and keeping that lead alive through the second half, the Lady Lions can now look to Friday night and play against the J.J. Pearce Lady Mustangs.

Olivia Carter with 29 points and Maddy Crabtree with 14 were the leading scorers for the night.  The team's record stands at 16-10 for the season and 7-5 in district play.
